Alice McVeigh

Alice, then a London celllist performing in the cello section of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, was first “big-five”-published by Orion/Hachette, writing about the “secret life of a symphony orchestra”. She now writes multi-award-winning Austenesque fiction as an Indie. Alice was a finalist in the 2024 and 2025 UK Selfies Awards (adult fiction), and has also twice been a finalist in Foreword Indies’ “Book of the Year” (2022 and 2025).
